I’ve spent over 30 years equipping leaders to boost their self-awareness, connect to their passion, and align with their purpose. I’ve worked across industries with leaders around the country to help them unlock their potential to BE MORE and maximize their influence.
I’m Laura Scheidhauer, and I’m thrilled to be your guide on this transformative journey. There’s a natural connection between like-minded leaders who share the struggles of balancing entrepreneurship, family, and career growth. It’s reassuring to know you’re not alone in navigating those challenges.
Growth can occur anywhere, but I’ve experienced some of the most powerful moments of my life when I was growing alongside others on the journey. When I combined my strength with the strength of those climbing alongside me, magic happened. I found freedom in becoming vulnerable enough to let others speak into my challenges, encourage my strengths, and brainstorm ideas. In those moments, creativity flowed, breakthroughs happened, and transformation took place.
This is why I'm excited to offer the Empowerment program—to bring together a group of like-minded women who are ready to take their leadership to the next level. In this 10-month journey we'll focus on what matters most to women. I’ll walk with you as you elevate your voice, lead with confidence, and step fully into who you are as a woman in a male dominated industry—without trying to become someone you’re not.
Together, we’ll use proven, practical strategies to quiet self-doubt, strengthen your influence, and navigate the conversations that shape careers and open doors. This experience is about showing up with clarity, credibility, and conviction in an industry that needs your leadership, and leaving with a clear, sustainable path forward to advance your career with intention and authenticity.

Empowered is a cohort-based leadership program delivered in partnership with professional construction associations. The program is designed to create meaningful peer connection, practical leadership development, and real-world application—within trusted professional communities.
Each cohort is hosted through an association partner, creating a shared learning experience tailored to the needs of women working in the construction industry. Rather than registering directly through our website, participants enroll through an association-hosted cohort. This approach allows associations to:
